Sheffield Mobility Covid-19 Update

Update 4th January 2021

As usual (ish)

Having just recieved the rubbish news that we are all to isolate again & that those at 'high risk' will soon be receiving 'shielding' advise once again, we want you to be aware that we are still here and will be offering our door to door repair & sales service following the government guidelines regarding contamination closely.

We understand that you may still require your mobility scooter, wheelchair, stair lift or general living aids for day to day life, regardless of whats going on in the world, and are aware how isolated you may feel during these strange times!

We have maintained strict methods to keep contact and the risk of spreading infection to a minimum throughout all lockdowns, as protecting our most 'Vulnerable' customers is key to us.

Our promise to you is that we:

  • Will sanitise all equipment/tools before & after repairs/demonstrations.

  • Will sanitise the frequently touched areas on your equipment before and after repair work.

  • Clean our hands as we arrive, when we leave, along with many times in between if necessary & will wear latex free gloves where we see a benefit, or even if you just request we do so.

  • Will carry out all repairs and demonstrations outside, where possible, & if we do have to come indoors we may specify distancing measures that we see fit.

  • Keep a minimum of 2 meters from you whenever & wherever possible.

  • Will wear a face mask at all times when we are around you or in your home. This is purely to stop us spreading anything to you but we ask that if possible you wear one too.

  • Will provide contact less payment methods & would prefer card/bank payments as a par to CASH.

  • Are more than happy to give you a blob of alcohol hand gel to sanitise as we leave.

  • Advise that you wipe your equipment down with Dettol (or similar) & wash your hands after our visit.

We have put these measures in place to keep you & your family safe, all we ask in return to keep our family safe is that you wear a mask (if possible) & you wash your hands before we arrive & after we leave.

  • Though delivery may take slightly longer than advertised it is still available on all items, whether you can find them listed on our website or not.

  • Where possible we will have goods delivered direct from the manufacture to eliminate un necessary contact, however where goods are delivered by us, they will be sanitised upon drop off.

Our website isn't the best when it comes to listing all of the living aids and nursing supplies that we sell (due to it being updated), however if you require something you cant find, please either visit either:
